Not your regular cookbook contest

Food Bloggers this could be your time to shine!

Food Bloggers from around the world are invited to submit their favorite blog posts, recipes and photos to compete for a spot in a Foodista.com cookbook. Foodista.com and Andrews McMeel Publishing are working together to get y’all food bloggers in a best of the best food blog cookbook.

I just love this idea. I have seen a lot of creative food bloggers out there who write great posts and show food photos that could really make you drool! Great food blogs that I follow like the Pioneer Woman, Gluten Free Girl, Steamy Kitchen (to name a few) have successfully launched their very own cookbooks. But not everyone has the time, funds, or the right contacts to get their delicious masterpiece published. It’s just way too expensive. But this time, you can have your blog post, recipe and photo published in book form!

The Foodista Best of the Food Blogs Cookbooks would choose recipes/posts from entries submitted by food blogs from around the world. If you’re a food blogger in Africa, Europe, India, Philippines, China, or Antarctica, you are more than welcome to join!

And you can even get your friends, family, to vote for you🙂 You can embed this cute widget on your blog so your readers can vote for your entry. Check out the contest rules here. The contest runs from December 1, 2009 through February 28, 2010. Keep those entries coming, you’ll never know if your recipe will be part of the 100 Best Food Blog Cookbook.

Happy Cooking!
